First batch of Dianas!
For my birthday, Kate got me the Mini Diana, which shoots in square or half-frame rectangular format. With manual control over the winding of the film, the camera allows for double or overlapping exposures and endless amounts of fun! After burning two rolls in trial and error (one underexposed and another extremely over exposed) I tried a third time this week in Malibu while the sun set. These are my favorites of the batch, and I’m thoroughly satisfied with the results! Admittedly, however, these are the watered-down versions, through the lens of my mediocre point in shoot. Hopefully, I can save up for a nice scanner that also can scan negatives because it’s quite expensive to get even 35mm film processed and printed. Plus, my appropriations of the prints defeat the purpose of shooting with film, though hopefully still enjoyable!
